Ribbed material has triangular ribs .25” wide and .10” high, with rounded edges. Both surfaces of the strip have ribs spaced 2” apart and are off-set by 1/2”. Ribbed strips are ideal for heavy traffic strip doors because they significantly reduce scratches so the door remains clearer and safer.

Double Ribbed PVC Strips have all the properties of PVC Strips but with added extra beneficial properties.

Double Ribbed PVC is extruded with a unique, raised ribbing on both sides of the sheet face which increases energy sealing effectiveness and helps prevent scratching of the sheet face thereby retaining its glass-like clarity longer.

An additional benefit of extruding ribbed material is that it provides the strip with a greatly increased strength.

When hung, the ribbing on the strips interlocks to provide better heat/chill retention qualities.

By virtue of the double ribbing the curtain has increased strength and is capable of withstanding repeated impact from fork-lift trucks, pallet trucks.
